I am a Master 2 student in Ecological Expertise – option Risks and Environment: ecosystems and biodiversity – at the University of Paris Cité, France. My research project is entitled « Limitation of an invasive species in restored water bodies: tests of ecological engineering methods » and  consists of evaluating whether the establishment and proliferation of the alien invasive calico crayfish, Faxonius immunis, can be limited, and even stopped, by using gravels as a substrate for a pond at the Woerr site.
