ORCID:

I am a Master 2 student in Ecologie, Environnment and Ecological Engineering at the University of Strasbourg, France. My researche project is entitled « Limiting an invasive species in restored water bodies: testing ecological engineering methods ». This consists to find ways of limiting the invasion of the calico crayfish Faxonius immunis while allowing biodiversity to thrive in the ponds at the Woerr site. This approach is accompanied by monitoring of calico crayfish, macroinvertebrates and macrophytes in experimental ponds.

COMBROUX, Isabelle

Biologist, lecturer, WP1 Leader

University of Strasbourg, France

ORCID: 0000-0003-3289-4937

My main  domains of expertise are restoration and conservation ecology, ecological engeneering, plant and aquatic ecology, ecological processes, biological invasions, ecological assessment, and ecosystem services. I have more than 20 years of work experience in these domains applied in inland aquatic systems (flowing and standing waters), riparian zones and wetlands. My works deal with both natural and anthropics systems (natural ecosystem restoration, brownfield rehabilitation, constructed wetlands). My scientific results are transfered to civil society in the domain of ecological engeneering: member of the steering comitee and the creation consortium for the Kalisterre label (good practices in ecological engeneering for private enterprises).
